Christmas has crept into our home a little early this year. At the end of a balmy summer I started illustrating the Christmas nativity for a new advent calendar. September was all about dozing camels, jolly shepherds, kings in all their finery and, of course, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.
The nativity advent calendar is the same format as the Where We Live advent calendar, first printed last year. The pack contains a card for each day of advent, with a new piece of the nativity to cut out and stand up every day. By Christmas you will have a complete nativity scene… say cheese!
Last week I took delivery of the first 100 calendars, and they’re rapidly making their way into some great shops. They are not in this web shop yet, but if you would like to buy one direct just drop me a message here and I’ll process your order that way, they are £10 each with free UK postage.
And for all the organised among us, here’s a quick mention of  Christmas cards. Some of the characters from the nativity have made their way onto 12cm square Christmas cards, to be delivered today! Here’s a sneaky preview.
